LogFoody has no accounts and no sign-up. Everything you log — meals, weight, water, exercise, profile — is stored only in your own device's browser storage (localStorage). We do not collect, store or sell your personal data on our servers.
Your profile (sex, age, height, weight, activity, goals), food logs, custom foods, badges, language preference and backups you export. You can view, export (JSON) or permanently delete all of it from the Profile screen at any time. Clearing your browser data or deleting the app removes it as well.
When you use photo analysis, the photo you choose is sent over an encrypted connection to our processing service, which uses an AI model to estimate the foods and calories in the image, and the result is returned to your device. Photos are processed to generate the answer and are not used to build a profile of you; we do not attach them to any account (there are none). If you prefer not to send photos, simply don't use this feature — everything else works fully offline.
Voice search uses your browser's built-in speech recognition (subject to your browser vendor's terms); barcode scanning runs entirely on your device through your camera. LogFoody stores neither audio nor camera frames.
The app itself does not use tracking cookies. Our informational pages may in the future display advertising (such as Google AdSense); ad providers may use cookies to serve and measure ads in accordance with their own policies, and you can manage ad personalization in your Google settings. We will update this page if and when ads go live.
Our pages are served by hosting and infrastructure providers (e.g. GitHub Pages, Cloudflare), which may keep standard, short-lived technical logs (such as IP addresses) for security and operation, under their own privacy policies.
LogFoody is intended for users aged 13 and over and knowingly collects no data from children — or anyone else.
